South Downs Way 100 mile challenge | Support our team of hikers!

Training is in full swing for the 100 mile walk along the South Downs Way in Aid of Rwanda Aid.  Emma, Charlie, Ali and Deanne have been building up their walking fitness through a series of long hikes.  So far, walks have included around Bewl Reservoir and Bedgebury which are relatively flat. Darwell Reservoir has a couple of climbs, and the Fairlight hike included the Fire Hills which was tough after 4 hours of walking!

A small group of walkers set off from Winchester on Sunday 4th June to walk the South Downs Way, hopefully arriving in Eastbourne on Friday 9th June. The Rwanda Aid CEO and some of the Trustees will also join the team for part of the walk.

We have raised over £5,000 so far. Can we double this amount?! If you would like to support them on their trek you can find their just giving page at

Thank you from all the hikers and the Rwanda Aid team.
